This is my one minute commercial about the Web 2.0 tool Zooburst, the digital Pop Up book maker. This is an awesome tool to use as an alternative visual presentation tool, to showcase imagery, to create a digital story, or to write children's literature.

Check it out at Zooburst.com

  1. Tricia I like Zooburst. I think this tool is wonderful and can be used across curriculum as well. I wonder if scrap booking could be done with Zooburst? Great music and another great Web 2.0 Tool. Great Job!

  2. Your review of the pop-book certainly intrigued me. I know that pop-books were the first ones I went for when I went to the book store. It’s interesting to see how the digital version allows us to create these visual literary marvels without the risk of tearing!

My High School seniors are always looking for new ways to present their readings and their findings. How difficult is it, and how long do you think it would take? I would imagine having my students find a chapter from their assigned readings and creating this product to help showcase their understanding of the material. I can also see this being used as a book report.

Thanks for the review and for enlightening us on the possibilities.

  3. Tricia! This was so cool! It is amazing the way you used the MOVING title slides to animate your commentary. I wish we had done this together this week, partly because I would love to know how to use the Zooburst, but mostly because I missed you this week. So much busy! How was your birthday? Did you get to have fun? A party? We should start having little parties with one another--well, now that I think about it, that's really what we do. I think it was my AR blog where I said I thought I was going to give up my social life this year, but it turns out I've just refocused it!

By the way, thanks so much for your help with the Voicethread, and for your comment at the end--the kids enjoyed it as much as I did.
